  • Jennifer S. Marschel, DVM

    Owner / Veterinarian

       Dr. Jennifer Marschel was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. She went to Xavier College Preparatory for high school, ASU for her pre-veterinary degree in Agribusiness, and then on to Colorado State University for veterinary school. She has lived and practiced in Arizona as well as in the Virginia/Washington DC area. She now lives in Phoenix with her husband and young daughter, their Boston terrier, a cat, and two guinea pigs. She worked at Orangewood Animal Hospital for many years before going to veterinary school and then bought the practice several years ago. She enjoys spending time with her family, St. Louis Cardinals baseball, working out at Orange Theory, and traveling when she can.

  • Patrick Waite, DVM

    Dr. Waite was born in Cambridge but raised in Spain. He attended veterinary school in Scottland at Edinburgh University and graduated in 2011. He moved to Arizona in 2012. His wife, Paige, is also a veterinarian. He is passionate about work and enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of so many animals. When not working he enjoys outdoor activities such as riding horses and hiking. He has hiked the Grand Canyon several times and plans to do it again.

  • Leigh Ann Stastny, DVM

    Dr. Stastny was born and raised in Omaha, Nebraska. She did her undergraduate work and University of Nebraska-Lincoln and attended Kansas State Veterinary School. Upon graduation she moved to Arizona and has called Phoenix her home ever since. Her hobbies are acrylic painting and alcohol inks. She loves spending time with friends and family. She looks forward to meeting you and your beloved pets.

    Ariel has been a part of the Orangewood family since 2016. Outside of work, she is studying for her Master's Degree at ASU, and is the proud pet parent of three dogs, her "old man" Beau, Indiana Bones, and Kirby.

  • Suzanna

    Suzanna joined our team in May 2018, shortly after her family moved to Arizona. She has worked as a veterinary technician for 7 years in several different states, so she brings a wealth of knowledge to our office. She was originally introduced to the veterinary field by her grandfather, who owns a practice in Oregon. She has three English Bulldogs at home, Gus Gus, Pearl, and Ember.

        Sarah has recently joined the Orangewood family. After being a teacher for fourteen years, she left so she could stay home to raise her two little girls. Her passion for animals has now led her to join our team.

  • Cecilia

    Cecilia has graduated from Pima Medical Institute with her veterinary assistant certificate. She is looking to further her veterinary technician education level. She loves working with the animals and is eager to learn new things. She has 3 dogs: a Doberman - Patotas, a Miniature Pinscher - Bruno, and Poodle mix - Nala.
